If you are going on a family vacation, California is a very nice place to visit. There are many famous places with lots of fun things to do and it would be perfect for both children, teens and adults. Los Angeles, Santa Monica and Anaheim are some very interesting places and I’m going to tell you a little bit more about them.
Los Angeles is probaby the best known city in California. It doesn’t snow and it’s warm all year. Beverly hills is a great place for designer shopping and many celebrities live there. Some of them are Britney Spears, Tom Cruise, David and Victoria Beckham and Ozzy Osbourne. There are many spas and tours you can take, and it’s probably the most fun for moms and dads in los angeles.
Santa Monica however is a nice place for kids. They can go to the Pacific Park which has a view of the ocean, where they can go on fun rides, play games, eat candy and go on the ferris wheel. All in the sun shine. And if they want to they can play on the beach or go swim in the ocean. There are many resutrants and nice shopping in Santa Monica too. There is also an aquarium in Santa Monica, where you can see sharks, sea stars, octopus and rays. It is a shark themed aquarium and it is sure to keep even the youngest family member entertained. And at the outdoor gym, which you can find on the beach, you can easily burn the vacation calories right off.
Another thing you can do in California is to visit Madame Tussauds. It’s a place where you can look at more than 100 real life sized wax dolls of your favorite celebrities. You can have you picture taken with them and then shop for souvenirs in the gift shop. There is also a zoo, called the LA zoo where you can see gorillas, seals, exotic birds, tigers, snow leopards and giraffes. The enviroment is really nice quality so the animals like their homes. Legoland is another amazing place to visit when you’re in California. There are villiges made entirely of Legos, many attractions and statues. Playareas, water rides, legos and bulding zones are so much fun for the whole family and it will keep you busy for at least one day.
Anaheim is a place for everyone. Teens will have the most fun on the different Youtube gatherings, like Playlist live and Vidcon. There are also many shopping centers in Anaheim, that teens will love. But the coolest thing in Anaheim is definitely Disneyland. Do I even have to say more? Disneyland is where your dreams come true, and you won't know how amazing it is until you've been there. It is a must do, and you will never regret going. It is a memory for a lifetime. And to complete your Disney experience you should visit the Disney California adventure park. Pixar and Disneys stories come to life with exiting attractions, shows and restaurants. And if you can’t get enough of movie parks, you should go to Universal Studios where you get to go behind the scenes of your favorite movies and series, there are even some 3D rides. And to top this all off, there is a pretty cool Sea life show. It is called Sea World and there are sea lions, otters, dolphins, polar bears, whales, sharks and penguins there. There are many different shows and a really nice turtle reef ride.
